Semmel Excavating LLC. has been serving the Lehigh Valley since 1945 making us one of the oldest, most experienced excavating and sitework contractors in the Lehigh Valley. Semmel Excavating owns our fleet of heavy equipment which includes bulldozers, loaders, scrapers, rollers, graders, backhoes, excavators, trucks, trailers and support equipment. A daily maintenance program is adhered to by our professional mechanics here in our shop.
Our field employees have been with Semmel Excavating for an average of 11 years and our management staff has been with the company for an average of 24 years. Our employees are dedicated to the work they do, adhere to good safety practices and are certified in OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and flagger procedures. Additionally, Semmel Excavating’s safety committee is state certified under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
